I know you haven’t properly slept lately.

No wonder, considering that you dream about the same person and you probably don’t know what it means.

I’ve been there and I have to tell you this:

There is a lot of speculation about why this happens, so you have to arm yourself with patience and carefully explore your options.

Most of the time, seeing the same person in your dreams means you have to deal with some issues and it has nothing specific to do with them.

So, I’d like to introduce you to no less than 19 helpful explanations for seeing the same person in your dreams.

Let’s jump right in!

1) You think about that person when you’re awake

The way dreams work isn’t completely understood, but there appears to be a connection between thoughts, memories, and dreams.

If you think about the same person a lot when you’re awake, it’s possible for them to appear to you while you sleep.

For example, you might think about a person often when they’re not around. When you do that, your subconscious mind is recording your thoughts, and then playing them back to you at night.

This is called dream incubation and it’s one reason why people dream of things or people they think about during the day.

2) Your unconscious thoughts are trying to tell you something

Your subconscious mind is powerful, and it can make your dream life more meaningful than your waking life by depicting your expectations, hopes, disappointments, and fears in a symbolic form.

If you dream of the same person over and over again, the interpretation could be that a part of you – your subconscious mind or inner self – is trying to communicate with you about this person.

However, what it is saying may not be explicit or clear.

So that’s why you should learn to pay close attention to your dreams and what they’re trying to tell you.

In this way, you can explore your subconscious mind and discover important insights that will improve your waking life.

3) A highly intuitive advisor confirms it

The reasons I’m revealing in this article will give you a good idea about why you dream about the same person.

But could you get even more clarity by speaking to a highly intuitive advisor?

Clearly, you have to find someone you can trust. With so many fake experts out there, it’s important to have a pretty good BS detector.

After going through a messy break up, I recently tried Psychic Source. They provided me with the guidance I needed in life, including who I am meant to be with.

I was actually blown away by how kind, caring, and knowledgeable they were.

A gifted advisor can not only tell you more about the meaning of your dreams but can also reveal all your love possibilities.

4) You may have feelings for this person

If you dream of the same person over and over, it’s very likely that you have feelings for them, whether or not they’re someone you personally know and whether or not they feel the same way about you.

The reason you keep dreaming of this person could be that your subconscious mind is trying to get you to confront your feelings and make a decision.

If you just go with the flow and accept your constant dreams as facts, then you’ll continue to dwell in a state of uncertainty.

Instead, try to understand what the situation in your dream means and why it’s so important to you.

Look at the context of your dream and think about what it could mean from multiple perspectives.

5) You and this person have unresolved issues

When you dream about the same person, it could be because there’s something important and unresolved between you two.

The dream is trying to get your attention so that you’ll think about the unresolved issues between you and then find a way to solve them.

What could these issues be related to?

Sometimes they can be relationship-related, such as if you and this person had a fight or if you’re concerned about losing their friendship.

However, sometimes unresolved issues are more general and relate to many different areas of your life.

Dream interpretation is not an exact science, but it’s a useful tool for getting you to look closely at your subconscious mind.

6) You see your mother due to internal conflict

Typically, when one dreams about their mother, it’s a sign of internal conflict.

You might feel guilt, anxiety, or resentment about something in your life and that’s why your mom appears to you when you sleep.

Dreaming about your mother can help you confront these feelings and deal with them.

For example, if you’re a woman and you dream about your mother being physically hurt, this symbolizes the fact that you worry about the well-being of others or feel guilty for causing harm to others.

The same goes if you dream of a woman who was like a mother to you or any mother-like figure.

7) He or she is your twin flame

The person who appears in your dreams could be your twin flame.

A twin flame represents much more than a soulmate. The connection between twin souls is particularly strong, and, according to some esoteric doctrines, they are perfect partners for each other.

You may feel that this person has been ‘sent’ to you or that you’ve seen them in your dreams to fulfill a particular mission.

Even so, twin flame dream telepathy is a real thing, and it could be exactly what is happening to you!

In case you are already united with your twin flame, seeing them in your dreams is a clear sign they’re trying to communicate with you and establish a telepathic connection.

This is also true for twin flames that are going through the separation phase.

8) You have difficulties facing your feelings

Dreaming of a stranger can also be a sign of internal conflict.

You could be dreaming of a stranger because you’re worried about something, or it could just mean that you feel separated from your real self.

You might dream of someone whom you know in real life, but they’re not the same person you know when you’re awake. For example, maybe that person has a different name or looks very different.

Dreams of strangers typically express feelings that are very private and difficult to face.

In addition to the emotions you feel toward this person, try to look at the other details in your dream and think about what they might mean.

This will help you figure out what the message really is.

9) Your subconscious mind is warning you

Dreams are sometimes warnings.

This isn’t always a good thing, of course.

Sometimes, your subconscious mind is warning you about the person in your dreams because they represent something you need to let go of, or because there’s something about them that’s causing problems for you.

In other words, your subconscious mind is trying to get through to you so that you’ll see what the person in your dreams really represents and then work on resolving the problem.

10) You see a person of the opposite sex because of your emotions

Dreams of members of the opposite sex typically have to do with feelings and emotions.

For example, a woman might dream about a man who represents everything she wants in a partner: he’s attractive, kind, emotionally mature, etc.

Whenever she dreams about this man, she feels happy.

On the other hand, if a woman dreams about a man that she doesn’t like, this dream could symbolize problems in her relationship.

For example, she may feel that her partner is too demanding and not sensitive enough.

Earlier, I mentioned how helpful the advisors at Psychic Source were when I was facing difficulties in life.

11) You see someone who passed away for comfort

Dreams about those who have passed away can be very comforting.

Not only do they show us that it’s okay to let go of someone, but they also help us cope with the grief of their loss.

Seeing a person who you loved dearly in your dream is a way for you to reconnect with that person and allow them to stay in your heart after they’ve passed away.

In addition, this dream can help you learn how to deal with the emotions associated with death.

12) You need to make changes if you see a child while dreaming

Dreams about children can symbolize innocence and the future and how a person has the potential to grow and change greatly.

For example, seeing a child in your dream may mean that you’re seeing yourself at a crucial moment in your life and that you need to walk through difficult periods with sincereness and strength.

Dreams about children can also be signs that you need to take care of your own emotional development or simply enjoy life more (i.e., find more fun in it!).

13) You dream of an athlete or celebrity due to your insecurities

Dreaming of a celebrity or athlete could be a sign that you need to work on your self-esteem and improve the way you feel about yourself.

For example, if you dream about an actress, this shows you that your body image is important to you and that your dreams reflect how you really feel.

Maybe you want to be in show business and you’re not sure if you can do it.

Or maybe your self-esteem is low, and you dream of a celebrity or an athlete because they’re role models or people who inspire you.

You’re the only one who can figure this out.

14) They represent a part of you that you don’t like

The person you see in your dreams could be… well, you!

In dreams, you’re often represented by people or images (such as animals, objects, symbols, etc.) that symbolize a part of your personality.

Moreover, you’re able to see your true self in your dreams because these representations are visible to you but aren’t actually in the real world.

For example, if you see a stranger in your dreams, they might symbolize you. This could mean that you feel separate from yourself or that there’s something about yourself that you don’t like.

If that’s the case, I highly recommend watching this free breathwork video, created by the shaman, Rudá Iandê.

Rudá isn’t another self-professed life coach. Through shamanism and his own life journey, he’s created a modern-day twist to ancient healing techniques.

The exercises in his invigorating video combine years of breathwork experience and ancient shamanic beliefs, designed to help you relax and check in with your body and soul.

After many years of suppressing my emotions, Rudá’s dynamic breathwork flow quite literally revived that connection.

And that’s what you need:

A spark to reconnect you with your feelings so that you can begin focusing on the most important relationship of all – the one you have with yourself.

So if you’re ready to take back control over your mind, body, and soul, if you’re ready to say goodbye to anxiety and stress, check out his genuine advice below.

15) You are stressed about work if you dream about your boss

Dreaming about your boss has multiple meanings, such as :

  • a sign that you’re feeling stressed or preoccupied with work.
  • a way for your subconscious mind to tell you to calm down and let go of your worries.
  • a symbol for other people who are making you feel stressed.

So, dreaming about your boss doesn’t have to do anything with your boss. It is related to you and your emotions.

In short, when you dream about your boss, your subconscious mind is trying to tell you to let go of stress and preoccupations because they’re too much.

16) Dreaming about old friends means living in the present

Old friends appear in our dreams for a variety of reasons.

For example, an old friend might be a symbol of relationships that you once had, and he or she is a reminder of that time in your life.

In some cases, old friends appear in your dreams because you want to communicate with them and tell them how much you miss them.

Old friends may also appear in your dreams because they symbolize experiences that you want to have in the future.

Moreover, dreams about old friends might be a sign that you need to slow down and focus on the present – or maybe they’re just reminders to enjoy what’s happening right now.

Tune into your inner self and find the answers!

17) You see a naked person because of lack of expression

Dreams in which people appear naked usually don’t mean anything in particular. However, they might symbolize something specific within ourselves that we’re currently repressing.

If in your dreams, you’re seeing a naked person but not presented in a sexual way, it might mean that you’re allowing yourself to see them this way and that your subconscious mind is helping you deal with something not so pleasant.

Conversely, if you’re seeing a naked person representing themselves in a sexual way, this could simply mean that you have hidden sexual desires that you should explore.

These desires may have nothing to do with the specific person that appears in your dreams. This individual’s presence could be symbolic only.

18) You miss this person

Simply put, if you know the person you’re dreaming of and you haven’t seen them in a while, this could happen because you miss them.

The reason for seeing this individual doesn’t have to be any more complicated than that.

However, if you really want to get the full explanation, then you should pay attention to what you feel when you dream about them.

For example, if you feel like they are in danger, it’s probably not because you miss them. Even so, you could take this as a sign and ask them how they’re doing in real life.

19) You are just imagining things

Your dreams can be a way for your subconscious to send you messages. Sometimes, your mind creates symbols or other images to represent different events that are happening in your life.

The vast majority of the time, these symbols aren’t real and they have no practical effect on the real world.

So, the person you’re seeing could be an imaginary character that you’ve simply created with your mind.

Why? There’s no definite answer because your mind works in mysterious ways. Maybe it created someone who does something specific because you’re curious about that topic.

Or, maybe you need some sort of relief because you feel overwhelmed by what is happening to you in real life.

There’s basically no way to know for sure. However, if you analyze yourself and your dreams closely enough, you might get the answers you need!

Why do I have romantic dreams with the same person?

Romantic dreams about the same person indicate that you’re not ready to let go of your feelings for them. They could also mean that you didn’t confess your feelings for them.

Another brutal truth is that you may be confusing a part of yourself with this person, or your subconscious mind is trying to get through to you and make you see what they really represent.

In some cases, these dreams can symbolize emotions that are so strong that they must be spoken and understood.

For example, you might need to talk to this person about your feelings, especially if they don’t know how you feel.

In other cases, the feelings are just there and need to be dealt with in order for you to feel better.

For example, if your ex keeps appearing in your dreams, take it as a sign that you need to forgive and forget.

But what if you don’t know the person you’re having romantic dreams with?

Dreams are symbols and allegories that represent what’s happening in the real world in a way that not everyone can understand.

Some dreams simply come to us this way and don’t represent anyone in particular in our lives.

When you dream about someone you’ve never met before, this person could be an important part of your personality or a symbol representing a part of your life.

Of course, we should not exclude the possibility of your soulmate or twin flame showing up in your dreams. This may happen before you even meet them!

As mentioned earlier, sometimes cosmic couples see each other for the first time while dreaming.

Is it true that if you dream of someone they dream of you?

This can be true, but not always. For example, if the person you dream of is your soulmate or twin flame, they probably dream about you, too!

The connection between soulmates and twin flames is stronger than that of everyone else. So, they often dream about each other, even at the same time.

As you already know, soulmates and twin flames can also communicate with each other through dreams. This is called dream telepathy and it could be what you’re experiencing.

When you’re telepathically connected to someone, you can see them in your dreams and sometimes even speak with them.

Twin flame dream telepathy is used by twin flames for many reasons, such as to announce their presence, to manifest each other, to communicate, and so on.

Even so, spiritually developed people could also be able to communicate telepathically and/or through dreams. So, you shouldn’t exclude this possibility either.

How can you make sure that the person you dream of dreams about you?

There’s no way to make sure that the person you see in your dreams will also see you.

In short, you can’t force anyone to have a dream about you (unless you know something I don’t).

But there are ways for you to attract their attention and make it more likely that they’ll dream about you.

For example, the law of attraction works with your thoughts and feelings to make them true.

If you want someone to have a dream about you, you could manifest yourself in theirs through affirmations.

To be more precise, each time you think of the person in your dreams, say a couple of positive phrases such as:

I’m dreaming of a special person and they will dream about me soon. – or – This wonderful man/woman is going to dream about me soon.

I dream about the same person. Now what?

We’ve covered the possible reasons you dream about the same person but if you want to get a completely personalized explanation of this situation and where it’ll lead you in the future, I recommend speaking to the folks over at Psychic Source.

I mentioned them earlier on; I was blown away by how professional yet reassuring they were.

Not only can they give you more direction on the meaning of your dreams, but they can advise you on what’s in store for your future.

Whether you prefer to have your reading over a call or chat, these advisors are the real deal.
