Do you find that people act “weird” around you? Like they struggle to be happy for you when things go your way?
It’s not that they don’t like you. In fact, it has nothing to do with you. You’re killin’ it.
It’s just that your personality is so unique that most people don’t know how to deal with you.
This is what happens when you don’t conform to the limited box society has created for you.
No matter what you do in life, there will always be people who aren’t happy for you, or who don’t understand why you do the things you do.
But you won’t pay any attention to those people because you’ll be too busy living life.
Here are 7 signs you have a unique personality that most people can’t handle.
1) You Don’t Let Fear Hold You Back
You don’t let the idea of failure keep you from trying everything you want in life. And that’s exhilarating to you.
You are out there doing what you want, and some people are stuck at home watching reruns because they are afraid of what life might bring if they try anything new.
People won’t always support your brave nature, but you’ll be too busy to care.
2) You Don’t Gossip
Rather than breaking people down, you are out there building people up. You know that gossip tears people apart and doesn’t make anyone a better person, especially you.
So you don’t get involved with gossip when it comes your way. People hate it when you don’t engage in gossip, but just know better than to waste your time talking about people who have nothing to do with you.
You prefer to leave people to their own business, and you prefer if they leave you to yours.
3) You Love Learning About People
Even though you are a total rock star, you don’t spend all your time talking about yourself. You love to learn about new people and love to hear about their lives, adventures, successes and more.
You know that listening is an important part of who you are, and people admire you for it. Some people will hate that you are such a good friend. Pay no attention to those people. But you better believe they’ll be paying attention to you.
4) You Don’t Hang Around With Certain People
People with strong and unique personalities don’t call certain people their friends. This list includes negative people, ignorant people, and selfish people.
Your circle of friends is small but tight, and you want to keep it that way. You surround yourself with people who contribute to your life in a positive way. There’s no room for negativity in your circle of friends.
5) You Hate Stupid People
“Stupid” is a relative term used to describe all kinds of people: greedy, ignorant, rude, selfish, useless, users, and so on.
You have no room in your life for people who can’t see the forest for the trees, and you are not about to waste your precious time trying to get them to see the light.
6) You Are Your Own Cheerleader
You don’t need someone to follow you around and tell you how awesome you are: you already know.
You can pick yourself up and dust yourself off when times get tough, and that’s hard for some people to swallow.
While most people would wallow in their sorrows, you are out seeing what else you can accomplish with your awesome life.
7) You Challenge Your Insecurities
You don’t let anything stand in your way, especially yourself. No excuse is acceptable for not going after what you want in life.
People don’t understand how you can rise above your insecurities and achieve your dreams…and they probably never will.
But you know that you’ve got this, and you are going to keep pushing through the pain and the discomfort to make sure you live your best life possible, despite what others might think.
