Spiritual knowing is something you might attain over time.

However, it’s not a static state of mind. Spiritual knowing evolves and expands with every new experience.

It grows in strength and wisdom as you learn more about yourself and the world around you.

The spiritual journey is ongoing, but there are some guidelines for beginners on this complex path that will help get you started and make your journey easier to follow.

Now, off we go!

1) Spiritual knowing brings a quiet mind

When you are at rest, you are on the path to spiritual knowing.

However, once you enter a state of stillness, a kind of calmness takes over your mind that is only possible when you notice something or someone else is distracting you from it.

So what does all this mean?

You can start observing your thoughts and dwelling on what’s happening around you and find out when they’re occupying your consciousness instead of taking you where you need to go.

2) Spiritual knowing doesn’t come with fear

Spiritual knowing is rarely associated with fear or nervousness, but the process of reaching this state may be frightening at first.

The secret?

You have to let go of your old “go-to” ways to cope with life situations and allow yourself to explore the spiritual path.

3) Spiritual knowing requires you to embrace change

Human beings are creatures of habit, and change is difficult for most of us to embrace.

On the spiritual path, you learn about how change can inspire and energize you when you become more accepting of it.

When it comes to your personal spiritual journey, which toxic habits have you unknowingly picked up?

Is it the need to be positive all the time? Is it a sense of superiority over those who lack spiritual awareness?

Even well-meaning gurus and experts can get it wrong.

The result is that you end up achieving the opposite of what you’re searching for. You do more to harm yourself than to heal.

You may even hurt those around you.

In this eye-opening video, the shaman Rudá Iandé explains how so many of us fall into the toxic spirituality trap. He himself went through a similar experience at the start of his journey.

As he mentions in the video, spirituality should be about empowering yourself. Not suppressing emotions, not judging others, but forming a pure connection with who you are at your core.

Even if you’re well into your spiritual journey, it’s never too late to unlearn the myths you’ve bought for truth!

4) Spiritual knowing makes you a wiser, more compassionate person

Spiritual knowing is the way you gain access to your true inner wisdom, the voice inside of you that tells you what’s right and what’s wrong.

It points you in a direction that leads to a better life and greater satisfaction.

Think about that for a minute…

So, if it’s difficult to respect your instincts when they tell you something is not quite right, it simply means that your spiritual knowing needs to grow stronger before it will be able to be heard clearly enough by yourself or someone else.

5) Spiritual knowing requires you to be content with who you are

Many people struggle with their sense of self-worth.

They want to be somebody else instead of being the person that they were born to be.

But this quest for “something more” will only lead them around in circles and away from finding their inner greatness.

One of the essential elements of spiritual knowing is recognizing that you are a divine spiritual being coming into incarnation.

6) Spiritual knowing comes with a shift in perspective

Life is so much easier when you have a spiritual perspective on events and situations in your life, rather than looking at them from a limited point of view and worrying about what might happen.

This shift in perspective is the result of spiritual knowing, which will give you an opportunity to live peacefully without fear.

7) Spiritual knowing allows you to trust your instincts

You can’t be taught spiritual knowledge—you have to experience it in order to understand it.

This is the only way to learn how to trust your instincts on this journey toward spiritual knowing.

But I get it, the path of the spiritual journey can be hard, especially if you’ve doubt about what spiritual knowing is.

If that’s the case, I highly recommend watching this free breathwork video, created by the shaman, Rudá Iandê.

Rudá isn’t another self-professed life coach. Through shamanism and his own life journey, he’s created a modern-day twist to ancient healing techniques.

The exercises in his invigorating video combine years of breathwork experience and ancient shamanic beliefs, designed to help you relax and check in with your body and soul.

After many years of suppressing my emotions, Rudá’s dynamic breathwork flow quite literally revived that connection.

And that’s what you need:

A spark to reconnect you with your feelings so that you can begin focusing on the most important relationship of all – the one you have with yourself.

8) Spiritual knowing helps you see the big picture

When you stop focusing on yourself as the center of everything and recognize that there is a divine source of life that is bigger than you, you gain an out-of-body perspective on life.

This makes it easier for you to see things from the outside rather than from within.

9) The avenue to spiritual knowing can only be traveled by treading lightly

One of the major lessons on the spiritual path is learning to tread lightly on the Earth.

Let me explain:

The Universe has provided us with everything we need to live in a state of contentment and appreciation.

Taking too much from the world around us, however, can result in a kind of spiritual blindness that makes it more difficult to achieve spiritual knowing.

10) Spiritual knowing gives you a bigger purpose in life

Why are you alive?

To most people, the answer seems obvious: because they were born and that’s why everyone else is alive.

Spiritual knowing takes this too-obvious notion and shows you that your life has a purpose beyond the mundane things that most people struggle with every day.

When you discover what this higher purpose is, it becomes easier to make choices based on the needs of your soul rather than your physical self.

11)Spiritual knowing requires a willingness to surrender your ego

The ego is the voice inside of you that’s always trying to convince you that you’re right and others are wrong.

A fear-based system gets in your way as you try to find spiritual knowing.

12) Spiritual knowing doesn’t come with any guarantee of results

There are no guarantees on the spiritual path because it’s not a promise or a contract between two parties working together in order to acquire something desirable, like money or power.

Fun fact:

Spiritual knowing is a choice that you have to make for yourself and no one else.

13) Spiritual knowing requires you to move beyond your old beliefs

In order for spiritual knowing to occur, your beliefs about the world around you need to be put aside or transcended, so that you can see things in a way that’s bigger than yourself and what you want out of life.

This can be very difficult to do while remaining attached to old beliefs— but it’s necessary if you are going to arrive at spiritual knowing.

14) Spiritual knowing is always right there next to you

One of the tricky parts about spiritual knowing is that if you’re looking for it, that’s not the way you’re going to find it.

Here’s the truth:

It is something that happens to you, rather than something that you pursue or attain.

15) Spiritual knowing requires a certain degree of emotional growth

To move beyond fear and stillness, you need to learn how to let go and be patient with yourself.

Your emotional growth on the spiritual path is a journey that will take time, but when you are willing to embrace all of your emotions with an open mind so that they can transform you into a better person, they will help you find spiritual knowing.

16) Spiritual knowing doesn’t provide any physical benefits

The spiritual path does not tell you to “take this pill and pay the price because it will help you get where you want to go.”

Instead, it shows you how to take care of your body so that it can be a vehicle for your soul’s journey through life.

It also helps you understand that your physical body/mind is an imperfect instrument for experiencing perfect consciousness and that if you allow yourself to focus too much on the body, your mind will start to dwell on it too much.

17) Spiritual knowing is very different from religion and New Age beliefs

To find it, you have to rid yourself of the beliefs that came with your religious upbringing.

You also need to transcend the beliefs of the New Age thought leaders who tell you what to think, rather than helping you discover your own truths.

When you move beyond these belief systems, you will be in a better position to access spiritual knowing.

18) Spiritual knowing is never in a hurry

Spiritual knowing is not a crisis where you have to do it right now or else your life will get in trouble.

It is something that occurs as part of your soul’s journey towards perfection.

In truth:

It is always at the back of your mind, working on your behalf and bringing you closer to enlightenment.

19) Spiritual knowing is beyond the logic of words and objects

Spiritual knowing will not be produced or revealed to you based on the things that exist within the physical world.

It is usually experienced in the midst of great silence and stillness so that words are useless when attempting to describe it.

20) Spiritual knowing is not a competition between you and other people

You need to stop comparing yourself with other people and trying to be better than them according to some spiritual measuring scale.

Spiritual knowing is something that happens within the deepest core of your soul, so why would you want to tell it how it should happen when it’s the only thing really standing between you and perfection?

21) Spiritual knowing is a higher aspect of being human

As you approach spiritual knowing, you will begin to feel that all of your past struggles were worth it.

It is because they brought you to a point where your soul can now experience the highest expression of human life— which is when your mind, body, and soul are attuned and working together in harmony.

22) Spiritual knowing is not who you are, but what you experience

Spiritual knowing is something that you experience.

This is very important because it means that even if you are the most enlightened person in the world, there will always be more to learn.

What does this mean?

The desire to know more is part of the soul’s journey, so you shouldn’t get too attached to any knowledge that you may have already acquired over the years.

23) Spiritual knowing can happen at any time and place

There is no rule that says you have to travel all the way through life to get to this point.

If you feel like spiritual knowing is happening right now while you are reading this article, then it is happening right now. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Final words

The spiritual path is one that can ultimately lead you to a state of perfection that is beyond the physical world.

It is not something that’s meant for everyone, but only those who are willing to let go of the finite and embrace the infinite.

Do you know what holds people back the most in achieving what they want? A lack of resilience.

Without resilience, it’s extremely hard to overcome all the setbacks that come with success.

I know this because until recently I had a tough time overcoming the spiritual path.

That was until I watched the free video by life coach Jeanette Brown.

Through many years of experience, Jeanette has found a unique secret to building a resilient mindset, using a method so easy you’ll kick yourself for not trying it sooner.

And the best part?

Jeanette, unlike other coaches, focuses on putting you in control of your life. Living a life with passion and purpose is possible, but it can only be achieved with a certain drive and mindset.
