1. People are unable or unwilling to engage with what you say

Deep personalities may cause people to disengage when discussing thought-provoking topics, but become engaged when discussing shallow topics. 

2. People continually throw simplistic labels on you

Another sign of having a deep personality that people don't understand is that they tend to categorize or label you in oversimplified ways without delving deeper into who you are. 

3. People seem enchanted by things you find shallow

Another sign of having a deep personality that people may not understand is feeling out of place around those who are fascinated by inane and shallow topics that do not interest you. 

4. People give you the 'nervous laugh'

Another sign of having a deep personality that people may not understand is receiving a nervous half-laugh from others who are uncomfortable and confused by you. 

5. Your attempts to open up are met by indifference

Deep personalities may face indifference when trying to open up, and the term "NPCs" is used to describe people who don't understand them, although it might be harsh. 

6. You feel bored by one-dimensional news or views

If you have a deep personality, you may feel bored by a lack of critical thinking around you, and struggle to find others who challenge their own views or think outside the box. 

7. You feel stunned by the lack of curiosity in many you meet

If you're a deep person, you may find almost everything interesting, but struggle to meet people who are interested in anything, and many people's lack of curiosity can be stunning.
