Is it possible to “swap heads” with a genius? Download all their valuable knowledge? Feel their confidence pulse through you?
It all sounds extremely appealing, if not a little impossible. All of this is promised under the Raikov Effect – an online course I was encouraged to try not long ago.
And since I like a good challenge I decided to give it a go for 30 days, keeping note of my progress, and giving my honest verdict at the end.
But before we dive in, I’ll quickly run through the basics:
What is the Raikov Effect?
Put simply, the Raikov Effect is a technique that will help you embody the qualities you need to become the person you want to be.
Let me give you an example:
You would love to be a basketball player, but you’ve hardly had the time or opportunity to step foot on a basketball court.
How could you ever reach high levels in that sport?
With years of dedication, practice, blood, sweat, and tears. And even then, you might not make it.
That’s where the Raikov Effect comes in – based on research by neuropsychologist Vladamir Raikov, you can unleash your inner potential by simply “borrowing” talent from those you admire.
Essentially, you can become the next Michael Jordan much quicker than if you use conventional methods of achieving success.
The method is based on:
- NLP (neuro-linguistic programming)
- The placebo effect
- Modeling (the behavior, habits, and attitudes of already successful people)
As well as various other techniques, all designed to help you achieve the life you want simply by triggering your brain into believing you can do so.
Whether it’s increased focus at work, learning a new skill, changing negative thoughts into positive, the Raikov Effect techniques can be applied to any area of your life.

So, it’s not a scam?
Sometimes if it sounds too good to be true, it’s usually because it is.
So it’s understandable that if you’ve not tried the Raikov Effect, it’s easy to assume it’s just another fad or money-making scheme.
I can vouch for the course – after purchasing and putting the Raikov Effect to good use, it’s certainly not a scam.
But like with any type of self-progression program, the course gives you the tools; the rest is up to you. I was open to the process and willing to give it my best shot, and the results speak for themselves.
More on that a little later…but first:
Why I decided to try the Raikov Effect
I actually came across the Raikov Effect by chance when a friend recommended the course. I wasn’t looking to change my life at the time, but I also wasn’t “the best I could be”, if you know what I mean.
Work was fine. Relationships, friendships, my inner-dialogue, were all fine. But I was getting a little fed up with just being “fine” and never “great”. It felt like I was coasting through life without really making any real progress.
When I first started the course, I didn’t have a specific area I wanted to work on, but as I started reading through the material and listening to the guides, it became apparent that confidence and self-esteem was an important element for me.
But before that, I wanted to create healthier habits to help me make the most of work and life!
This was a priority because for a long time now I’ve struggled to find a routine that works for me, and it was starting to have a knock-on effect on my work, mental health, and even my relationship.
I’ll explain more about that in the next section:
How it impacted my life
The Raikov Effect, in my opinion, is a valuable course to take. I say valuable because it can be used in any situation you need it. And once you learn the techniques, they’re with you for life.
Not to mention:
I learned more during the course than I thought I would. Not only about bettering myself, but also my general understanding of success and happiness.
For me, there were two major changes to life:
1) I formed habits that revolutionized my productivity.
Ever heard of the saying “Don’t reinvent the wheel?”
Well, that’s one thing I learned in this course. I don’t need to take drastic measures or discover some hidden secret way to success to achieve it.
I can simply learn from those who are already there.
I decided to focus on my routine – remember how I said work was just “fine”?
Well, I knew that one area I was lacking in was getting myself organized and actually making the most of my workday.
So, I decided to use the “swapping heads” technique and the “as if” approach.
The first involved visualizing someone I wanted to be like, so in this case, I chose my brother.
He has a great morning routine, finishes his work to consistently high standards, and still has time for a life in the afternoon. Exactly what I wanted.
Then, using the “as if” approach, I woke up on day one as if I was him. I continued this for 30 days, and by now his routine just feels natural.
I saw his way of doing things, how it worked out for him, and I embodied it all.
Instead of forcing myself to stick to someone else’s morning routine, I found this was much more engaging.
And, after each day of producing great work and even getting ahead of my schedule, I became more and more confident in myself.
2) “Success” isn’t defined by those with money or status.
Leading on from my previous point, I used my brother (a normal guy, not famous for anything unless you count his crazy chicken dance at family get-togethers) because he inspires me.
He has the type of life I want, regardless of whether he’s well-known or not. And that’s another great aspect of the Raikov Effect:
You want to be the next Richard Branson? Go for it!
You have an important meeting coming up and hate giving presentations? Watch your favorite TedTalk and “swap heads” with your favorite speaker!
You want to be a better person? Look to the kindest person in your life – your mother, a teacher, a friend, and reshape your thoughts and actions to be in line with who you strive to be.
The point is, success is like beauty – it’s all in the eye of the beholder. Money doesn’t define success, and that was a big turning point for me.
You can gain new skills just from embracing the mindset of your neighbor who’s great with cars. Or your aunt who has the confidence of a queen. Even your kids, who have no fear of unleashing their creativity and getting wild.
These are just two ways the Raikov Effect has transformed how I live my life.
Now, while the experience will be different for everyone, I truly believe what you put into it is what you’ll take out of it.
But if it could pull me out of my funk and help me form habits I’ve been dreaming of having for years, I’m pretty sure it can help others too, if only they want to change!
So now you know what the course is and how it’s helped me, here’s some background on the origin of the Raikov Effect:

Who created the Raikov Effect?
It all starts with Russian neuropsychologist, Vladimir Raikov. Well-known and recognized in his field of psychiatry and hypnosis, Raikov had a particular interest in how his students could learn new skills more efficiently.
Through hypnosis, his students went from being average chess players to experts, scientists turned into artists, and a complete novice at piano magically transformed into a pro pianist.
In 1971, American psychologist Stanley Krippner ventured to Russia to find out more about these incredible studies being conducted by Raikov.
The creators of the Raikov Effect have taken these studies to the next level – a focused, quick, and effective way to achieve the same results Raikov reached in his sessions (but from the convenience of your home and in much less time).
Who would benefit from the Raikov Effect?
The truth is, anyone can benefit from taking part in the program. Anyone who has goals, dreams, or who simply aspires to be the best at what they do.
Whether your goal is to eat healthier, become a better painter, reach new heights in your favorite sport, or focus with clarity at work, the Raikov Effect can be used across the board.
These are the areas in which the Raikov Effect can transform your life:
- Increased intelligence
- Enhanced business skills
- Unlocking creativity
- Weight management
- Boosted productivity
- Leaving behind bad habits
- Higher levels of motivation
- Increased confidence
- Achieving your goals
It looks like a lot to take in, so what if you’re someone who doesn’t have much time on their hands?
There are short versions of both the PDF document and audio “Listen Along” guide, so you can learn the key parts without having to read the entire document (although I’d still recommend reading it when you can).
All you need is 10 minutes a day to achieve all the above and more.
So, who wouldn’t benefit from the Raikov Effect?
Whether you want to improve your memory, be better at your job, paint like a pro, there’s something for everyone.
But with that in mind, I’d say that if you lack imagination and the ability to “visualize” you might struggle. That’s because a key component of the course is being able to “swap heads” with some you admire, whose qualities you wish to have.
A tip if this is you: Do your homework beforehand. Research all the information you can on the person you wish to be like, and it’ll make visualizing them much easier.
Also, don’t be afraid to try different techniques to help you get into character.
The course will give you alternative ways to “swap heads” but you can also play around with it and do what makes you feel most comfortable!
I did and it made the entire process much more effective.
How to get the Raikov Effect course
If you’ve been Googling how to access the Raikov Effect course, you might have noticed that it isn’t as easy to sign up to like other programs.
That’s because the folks at the Raikov Effect limit the number of people taking the course, and currently, they’re not accepting new members.
With that in mind, don’t lose hope if this sounds like something that would help change your life – you can still submit your name and email, and when there are new openings you’ll be invited to become a member.

My personal experience
When I first signed up, I was excited to give the course a go, but also realistic; I’ve tried and tested many courses in the past and a fair few have turned out to be hyped up and useless.
Nevertheless, I went in with a clean slate, ready to learn.
The introductory video was short and sweet but gave a good overview of what to expect. I had plenty of time so I read through all three PDFs to start with.
Understanding the science behind it was probably the best part for me – it removed doubt and surprisingly made a lot of sense:
- The placebo effect works, with numerous studies showing how we can trick our brains into believing something, so much so that we can even cure ourselves of certain illnesses.
- Visualizing and modeling have been scientifically proven to be effective ways of learning.
- Using “anchors” for memories is something we already do subconsciously – certain songs or smells can instantly make us feel better. Creating physical anchors that can be used anytime you need them is also explained in the course.
I decided to test the Raikov Effect out pretty quickly after I finished going through all the resources, starting with writing a creative story I’ve been putting off for months.
As a writer (fellow writers will understand this) having a block now and then isn’t unusual, but mine was dragging. I had some great ideas, but very little motivation or “umph” to get started.
Whenever I tried to start writing, those ideas would turn to mush and I’d be back to square one.
So, I decided to “swap heads” with one of my favorite fiction authors – Khaled Hosseini (the author of The Kite Runner).
Until you actually take the course, it might seem a bit peculiar to be swapping heads with someone you’ve never even met, but that’s where all the research comes in to back it up.
For a few blissful hours, I was him. Or rather, I was me, with his talents flowing through me.
I wrote, I thought about how I wanted my story to develop, I even got down some key traits of the characters I plan to introduce.
It’s hard to describe it, but for a while, I genuinely felt like I was an accomplished writer who could conjure up an emotion-packed, engaging short story. Goodbye writer’s block!
I decided to apply the Raikov Effect, step by step, to different areas of my life. It feels like a doorway to hidden potential has been unlocked, and my abilities are now limitless!
With that in mind, here’s a summary of what I thought of the course:
My likes and dislikes of the Raikov Effect
What I liked about the course:
- The course is to the point and full of useful information (with no unnecessary waffle).
- I found all the science behind the Raikov Effect easy to digest.
- The course isn’t too long – after I read through both the full Raikov Effect and the Quick Start Guide, I was ready to get going straight away.
- I like the technique as it requires nothing but my imagination and willpower.
What I wasn’t so keen on:
- I’m going to be honest, in the beginning, I found it a little strange and I guess I could say “silly” to imagine swapping heads with someone, but once I got over that everything started to fall into place!
- It’s online-based, so you’ll need an internet connection (although the resources can be downloaded for later use).
Alternatives to the Raikov Effect
In case the Raikov Effect doesn’t feel right for you, there are a few different courses out there that can also help you make your life the best it can be:
Learning how to learn – Deep Teaching Solutions
This free course will help you learn pretty much anything, with much more clarity and ease than the way we’re taught to learn at school. You’ll learn methods like “chunking” to help retain information, managing procrastination, and improving memory, all so you can make use of your full potential.
Success: How to take your life from Good to Great
For less than $20, this course on Udemy will help you break down barriers to success, make better decisions for your life, and take control over your emotions, fears, and more. It’s not too long either – a four-hour-long video (with lifetime access) will talk you through all you need to know about improving your life.
Out of the Box Workshop
This workshop is one of my personal favorites. Not only can it help you achieve “success”, but it’ll shed you of your limitations, opening a whole world of possibility. You’ll learn about yourself, and be given great guidance on designing your perfect life. It’s pricier than the previous two, but the amount of content and effective techniques make it worth the cost.
My verdict: Is the Raikov Effect worth it?
Without a doubt – yes.
It’s not often that I would so strongly recommend a course, but when it works, it works!
And I think everyone should have the opportunity to turn their life around and be the best they can be. After all, most of what holds us back in life is fear, untapped potential, laziness, or simply just not knowing what to do.
The truth is:
I don’t plan on making millions overnight (and let’s be realistic, the Raikov Effect can get you going, the rest comes down to you) but I am happy with the changes I’ve made so far.
I’m yet to be “the best” at something, but I now have a way of getting there when I want or need it!
So, if this course can give you the skills to achieve what you want, I’d say it’s well worth a shot – what have you got to lose?
