5 things you probably don’t know about Sonia Ricotti

“The past is history. It is no longer exists, but you are keeping it alive in your mind through your thoughts. Let it go. It is not serving you.”

— Sonia Ricotti

A master of helping people bounce back from the most soul-crushing of falls, Sonia Ricotti is considered by many to be a leading expert when it comes to personal transformation.

And if you haven’t heard of her yet and are wondering why she’s so great, you’re honestly missing out. Whether you are looking for ways to pull yourself out of a difficult situation or looking for proof of the good in mankind, you should definitely try to learn more about her.

That’s why in this article I will tell you five things you probably don’t know about Sonia Ricotti. And in writing this, we hope that we can let you know her better, and maybe even inspire you!

1) She’s a prolific and relatable author that offers practical advice

Sonia Ricotti is an author, and among her works are the best-sellers “Unsinkable”, “The Law of Attraction Plain and Simple”, and “Mastering the Law of Attraction.”

The beauty in her work is that she makes it easy for you to understand what she is talking about.

She gives clear examples and uses simple and approachable language that anyone can easily grasp.

Which is perfect, given that her books are all about helping you push yourself up when you’re down, and about drawing success close to you.

When you’re in a position where you need her books, chances are you don’t have the time to sit around all day trying to untangle esoteric language.

You need practical guidance, and that’s what she’s all about.

2) When life gives her lemons, she makes lemonade.

There are people who talk about things they don’t have a clue about or haven’t even experienced. You see them all the time on the internet.

Not Sonia. She had hit rock bottom, bounced back, and her works are all the richer for it.

She had a break-up, was in debt worth $124,000, lost her home, and had severe health issues. Many people would balk and crumple under that much weight, but not her.

Others would complain and just not bother. But not her.

She fought back, pulled herself back onto her feet, and learned from her ordeals. And she made the most out of her experiences by reaching out and sharing the lessons she had learned in life with others.

3) Sonia goes out of her way to help the downtrodden.

There’s more to Sonia Ricotti than just being an author.

She knows what it’s like to be at the very bottom when you have nothing to your name and the world itself seems to be against you.

She writes her books to help people be their best selves, but more than that, she also takes matters into her own two hands.

When Thailand was struck by a tsunami back in 2005, her heart bled for the people suffering from the disaster. But, in her own words:

“The devastation in Thailand remains vast and lives have been forever altered, however, hope and love prevail.”

And love and hope she did spread!

She went to Thailand to offer humanitarian aid. Going where the tsunami had devastated lives and visiting orphanages. That trip to Thailand was not her first rodeo, and it wouldn’t be her last.

She also asks that people do their best to help in any way they can.

You don’t even have to go abroad to offer humanitarian aid like she had done. In her own words:

“There are many ways you can give. You can go buy a sandwich for a homeless person or help your neighbors mow their lawn. It doesn’t matter just do something to help others.”

Among the countries she had personally gone to and helped are Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Thailand.

So when you buy books or courses from her, you might want to keep this in mind.

After all, isn’t it good to support people who go the extra mile to help the less fortunate? It might just inspire you.

4) The girl’s got guts!

In “Unsinkable”, Sonia talked about her desire to find work outside of Canada.

She had gotten sick and tired of the cold, so when she saw a listing for a job in tourism that would place her in Cuba it was like a dream come true.

There was just one problem. The job needed her to speak Spanish. And Sonia didn’t know Spanish.

Now, where many people would balk at this and give up, she bit her lip and tried to apply anyways. It was a wild ride, and she had to ask a friend to translate her answers to Spanish for her.

But she got the job, and in the three months between her application and her deployment to her new place of employment, she managed to learn the language and held the job for four years.

She did not pull this off by being so thick-faced that she had become immune to fear itself.

No, she felt anxiety here, she felt fear, and she almost decided to not go ahead with it. But she did, and that is because she managed to conquer her fears.

And she will happily help you do the same.

5) She’s the CEO of “Lead out Loud”

When she went to Thailand, she was inspired to create her company, Lead Out Loud.

“The horrific disaster stirred up something deep inside me,” she said.

“I tried to dream up a career that would allow me to utilize my leadership expertise and also make a difference. After a lot of thought and reflection, the vision of Lead out Loud came about.”

Lead Out Loud is an online platform founded by her with the purpose of reaching out to as many people as possible. To inspire, to lead, and to help them with their struggles and create a life that they long envision for themselves.

Conclusion

The best advice on how to bounce back when you’ve fallen down and can’t get up is going to come from someone who has already gone through all that.

And Sonia Ricotti had all but made it her life’s mission to help people face their fears and rise up against all adversity.

In her works, Sonia talks about being mindful of your intentions. To act out of kindness and love rather than out of selfishness.

And Sonia lives by her word. She doesn’t write books simply for the sake of writing books. She honestly wants people to be the best they could be. She had seen human suffering and would like to see less of it in the world.

That might seem like an entirely lofty goal but, as she herself asserts in “Unsinkable”, you can do it. You just have to try and believe in yourself.
