Email Privacy
Hey, it’s James at ideapod.com.
My primary goal at this website is to provide you with information and insights that will enhance your relationships, especially your romantic relationships.
We accomplish that goal in several ways, starting by offering you the opportunity to subscribe to our emails, which go out several times per week. These emails provide links to the latest articles and information my team has discovered and summarized for you. Sending out top-notch ideas and insights is our primary mission.
To support that mission, we also send promotional emails, which you might think of as something similar to TV commercials that support your favorite TV programs. Except ours are just written enticements to click on a link for a product you could buy. These promotions allow me to pay my staff as they continue to provide excellent customer support and help me research emerging trends in the world of dating and relationships.
You may find some of the promotional emails annoying, while others could be just the thing you were looking for. You can feel free to ignore our promotional emails and just read the free blog articles and tip of the day nuggets we send out. It’s totally up to you. Just realize that if you click on a link for one of the “sponsored by” promotions, there’s a good chance my company will receive a commission for helping spread the word about that product or service.
Of course, it’s also an option to simply unsubscribe if you find the content does not fit your liking or does not meet your needs during any chapter of your life, now or later. To unsubscribe, simply click on the unsubscribe link you can find on any of the emails we send you. You can also contact us and we will happily unsubscribe you.
There are a few transactional emails you’ll receive from my company if you place an order or contact my customer support team. But generally speaking, those transactional emails are rare. They are responses to an order you’ve placed for one of my relationship courses or sometimes a legal compliance communication like a privacy policy update.
You should also know that my team uses tracking pixels and tags in our automated email follow-up software. This allows us to to send email based on the things people show interest in by opening certain emails or clicking on certain links inside those emails. My team includes some pretty smart men and women! And they’ve been given the mission of paying attention to what subscribers seem to care about for the purposes of market research and adjusting the kind of content we send you so it better matches your actual interests.
We appreciate having you as an email subscriber, and we always hope you have a positive experience as a member of our small community of enthusiasts focused on creating the best relationships possible.
Thank you,
