Today, I want to remind you of 3 clear signs that you’ll be just fine, even if you don’t feel like it right now.

1) Right now everything is changing

The one fundamental rule of life is that everything changes. Nothing stays the same, not even you. Every moment is different from the last. We literally get a second chance every second.

When it starts raining, remember that it will eventually stop. It has to. It’s the law of the universe.

2) There’s one thing you can control

Yes, it’s true that a lot of life is out of our control. Accepting this is an important part of life. But there is one thing we can control, and that’s our attitude and reaction to how things are unfolding.

You can choose to be angry at the world for the pain and struggle put forth on your path. You can try to deny the experiences of sadness and negativity. Or you can face up to them, accept them and move on with your life.

The only way we will ever truly live meaningful and fulfilling lives is by fully embracing reality and taking the good with the bad.

It’s true, life isn’t fair and some people have a much harder time than others, but feeling sorry for yourself will never help. Sometimes you need to use all the energy you have and move forward as best you can.

3) There is at least one positive step you can take right now

So many of us struggle to progress in life because we think we have to conquer mountains. We don’t have to, and thinking like that only serves to discourage us. When you seek instant gratification (big, quick fixes) you make life painful and frustrating.

When you choose instead to treat each moment as an opportunity to make a tiny, positive investment in yourself, the rewards will come. Small steps every day will get you there.
